How to fix LinkedIn's URL too long post error

This "We're sorry, there was a problem with the link you followed." URL error usually happens when the URL is too long. Sometimes you are unable to share posts on LinkedIn's company page because of this error. You may even get a notification saying that the post is successful - but when you check your feed, you will be unable to see the post on the company feed. Sometimes they will show you a link error saying that the URL was too long.
